some centaurs

Here are some of the centaurs from Quelta, my Lego world. PLEASE NOTE: The custom face and torso decals are not my designs. The minotaurish-looking shaman decals I bought from an ebay seller long ago, and all the other custom waterslide face and torso decals I bought from Red Bean years ago. I wish I had the skills and printing equipment of such great creative geniuses...but I don't. :( Of course the way the decals are used is my idea, and the centaur king's axe is my creation. I am wondering if I should stick with the brick-built centaur bodies or save up to buy some Brickforge centaur bodies. Any thoughts?

I like your centaurs, and the kings axe looks great :)
I would defiantly go for the BF centaurs, there a little expensive but there worth it.

Hey, those are cool. The decals look like they were applied nicely. I used to have centaurs similar in build a long time ago. If you are curious about the BF centaurs, I can say they are quite awesome. The $5 ones with screen print are very nice. If you are are a little unsure because of the price, the BF store currently has the Dark Blueish Grey and Dark Orange are $2. Btw, I really like the battle axe mod and decal-ed shield on the centaur king.

Just a tip, if you put a 1x1 round plate (aka, "stud") on the bottom of the legs, it looks more like hooves. I like to use black or brown with mine.

Thanks for the tip. That does look better. Still, I am torn over whether to stick with the brick built bodies or buy Brickforge bodies as others have suggested. The Brickforge bodies do look awesome and the sale price makes them tempting, but I have limited $ and there just so many great LEGO items and sets to choose from...

An entire binder of Red Bean decals...what I would give to get those. Red Bean's decals are my favorites. But I must say I some of my other favorites are yours, like the character in the link below. Since I have no creative design skills and lack a quality printer, I have bought decals from others too, like Saber Scorpion. The customizing community has done some amazing work.
