When series 7 was announced, and since it came out, I initially decided that the Boar Knight would be like the Black Falcon in the Royal Joust exclusive set (i.e. special and singular). Since opening a few from the box I ordered, I have decided he is actually quite AMAZING and I want an army of them. The way the metallic and crimson colors catch the light is quite sinister and a GREAT human faction to go alongside the orc/troll armies from the Castle fantasy line. I love this new knight, and if you all don't want yours... well, I believe they are quite FANTASTIC. And at 5 to a case, I will find it easier to build this faction than it was to get my Roman Legion set up.

Given the last post weighed up against some of the earlier ones, there's clearly quality issues. I have ordered one through Bricklink from Canadia, I wonder what it's going to be like :o .

I grabbed an open box last week. Have to say that while it's nice to have another faction, the Boar Knight is not my favorite. I'm pretty unimpressed with him, actually.

I have not seen them around here yet but will get one when I see them. If they are good might get more than one.

I got 2 last week (for EUR 1,99) and I think the production quality is ok... the contrast of print/background is sufficient on shield an armor... BUT: as a whole I'm not very impressed with the design... the black armor is rather shiny an looks not as menacing as in the photos... I guess I'll only get a few more and refrain from buying a complete army

I just noticed something odd, in the new magazine the black knight has no insignia on his shield :?

Went to TRU today and they had 66 S7 so I got a Evil Knight, Aztec Warrior, and Viking Woman, believe me I wanted alot more than that :P
The boar on the Evil Knight shield was almost brown sadly :?

That seems to be the general consensus.

That is sad, as what was already a low sought-out minifg for me (beyond the one for a set) has somehow become even less desirable.

Have you (or anyone) tried the Viking Woman's new helm and hair piece on a male minifig? I'm very curious as to the results.

If anyone thought the evil boar knight seemed familiar they should check out this thread:
