LCC-Garheim-Forest Bridge

Postby Eklund » Sat May 26, 2012 10:14 am

This is kind of an experimental moc for me, I wanted to try out a number of things, like the waterfall, tree design, and grass-scaping. There isn't much of a story, other than there are a couple of men about to cross the bridge. It was also partly built to return a favor to mitah. In his last moc, he had a Lenfad representative on his way to Garheim, so in this moc, you can think of it as a Garheim representative on his way to a Lenfald city. Anyways, enjoy, and since this was a moc to try out new things for me, and to build a little bit differently than usual, comments and criticism would be appreciated.

Amazing job, Eklund!
The trees, bridge, grassy overhang and waterfall are all nice details that come together here to make a great moc.

Great moc Eklund. Like the densely grown terrain, the trees and that waterfall and water is amazing. A very good job.

What can I say, I like it... I like the mood and the foliage and trees - but I'm not really a fan of the bridge though, I'm a strong supporter of the "everything has to be attached somewhere" philosophy...

Maybe a stone or mud path leading to and from the bridge would have brought a little contrast to the riverbanks... or a sign on either side of the bridge indicating the destinations... I hope this didn't sound too judgemental (substitute more appropriate word here), I really like the MOC

Thanks for the feedback mitah, I had asked for it, and those are good suggestions. A path would have been nice, I probably should have added one.

The water is awesome, and those trees are the coolest part of this MOC. I also like the cliffs and overhanging grass. The bridge looks a bit too messy for my liking, and I agree that a path would've improved this. I think that this creation accomplished what it was built for; you tried out lots of cool stuff.

I especially like the water. The bridge looks very dangerous to walk over.

It is different! But very much the same when it comes to the fantastic quality you always put into your builds! I really like the way you made the bridge. It looks very rickety and uneven. It's great!
