LCC - Lenfald LC 2 - Anna

Post by petturik »

The ship for LCC LLC2 - The Lenfald Ships and Boats Contest.

This particular ship is the fastest coastrunner in Lenfald, Captain Seagull calls her Anna.

Not particularly high on loading space, the ship can still hold 10 armed troops or, as can be seen in the other pictures, several crates and barrels of goods.

Unloading weapons and gold

Tybalt Fishby arrives with a shipload of weapons at a base controlled by aswell Loreos as Lenfald.
This base is used to put an end to the recent uprise in Outlaw activity.
Established by joint effort of both provinces, they each take turns providing and running the base.

At current times Commander Whiteshake of the Loreesi armed forces is manning the base, along with a detachment of both Loreesi and Lenfel.

The SNOTed deck works well, and so does the color selection. The rope around the furled sail is also a nice touch :D

My first try at building a ship was about 10 studs wider. I trimmed it down a bit because the length was the same and it would seem bulky.
The deck also was a problem there, because it ate almost all of my brown, tan and dark tan plates :)

I myself like how it worked out, (though) I wanted to make a propper mast and sail aswell, but time was running out.

I really like that the sail is up, (don´t know what it is called) the tecnique for it looks really good. Nice snot job on the boat also. After all the best part is the landscape shore and the small armored building. Great entry :D
