Lego Hobbit Boardgame

Post by andhe »

The Lego Hobbit Boardgame has appeared for pre-order on toysrus.com. I know it's probably stretching the limits of what constitutes a new 'castle' set, but personally I really like the lego games. Both for parts and for game play. Some great micro-builds.

Both photos are currently private, so I'll comment on what I see now.

Looks like the microfigs are going to be great, as usual. So it's like Memory, I suppose. The tiless (2x2) appear to be various faces and perhaps a map? Those could be great for paintings and (obviously) maps, respectively.

When I realized it was a 'memory game', I thought: "an over-engineered card game!" :?

But then I look at all the awesome parts, and I drool a little. :sly:

A memory game by the looks of it, that sounds and looks good. :D This could actually be one Lego board game I would buy :tasty:

I who adore the LEGO games have one thing to say...COOL!

It looks like great fun. It has really great parts..but then most of the games have been parts packs for most of us. It will be great fun! I'm excited. Thank you so much for the info!

Looks like a cute game. I'm more interested in all of those great landscaping pieces though.
