These have been around for a while, but I haven't seen them posted here yet. Designer videos for two of the -imo- best looking sets.

LEGO® The Hobbit™ 79003 An Unexpected Gathering
LEGO® The Hobbit™ 79010 The Goblin King Battle

Enjoy :)

Thanks Richard for linking those videos. Both were great but it was really hard to understand the designer in the An unexpected gathering set video. (oh well I won´t say anything about the danes and potatos) :) just kidding

Last night I finally got around to picking up a copy of 9472-1: Attack On Weathertop and today I thought I'd add it to my Brickset list and noticed that there's updated photos of some of sets from The Hobbit range.

79002-1: Attack of the Wargs

79004-1: Barrel Escape

79010-1: The Goblin King Battle

I like Barrel Escape and the Goblin King set is decent, but I don't really like Attack of the Wargs, though it could be a great parts pack.

My thoughts exactly! And in two colors!
The goblin king will be a nice addition to the existing oversized troll figs as well

You really like you're troll figs, don't you!

These sets look excellent! The Goblin King Battle looks like it has a lot of good pieces, Barrel Escape and Attack of the Wargs are sets I defiantly be getting if the price is good. Maby I'll BL some of the torsos on some of the sets if there not to expensive...

I have seen every set in the store so far but the barrel escape. I wonder if that will be limited production like the orc forge?

I think it is a TRU exclusive.

In other news I guess this counts as a Hobbit 'set'. A brand new Elf polybag with green hood! (eek!)

Some great parts in there, if any US friends fancy sending some across the water...

Was just coming over here to post that polybag. Does anyone know where they will be sold? Target perhaps?

I'll be sure to grab a few extras if I find them for my CC friends :)

EDIT: Found them at TRU online. $4.99 ea with a limit of 5 per customer.

Here's the review: http://www.thebricklife.com/lego-30212- ... obbit-set/

Did you actually read the article? Lol. First line states: "Toys R Us has this great new Lego polybag set, Mirkwood Elf Guard, available to ship now."

:tasty:

I found the set on someone's Flickr page. Then read the article after posting :P

So if I go to TRU today and clean them out, how many do you guys want? You can PM me if interested 8)

EDIT: BAH!! I've called 3 TRU's and none of them have these yet. You can only order 5 at a time online which means you can't get to the $49 required for free shipping. What a bummer. Guess I'll have to wait, but with Black Friday coming, I don't really want to venture out until after the weekend. Hopefully they won't get cleaned out!

EDIT 2: I bit the bullet and put an order together on TRU so I got 5 of the new Elf polys and 5 of the Frodo polys. I'll be looking to sell 4 of the Frodo ones and maybe 2 or 3 of the elf ones, so if you are interested, send me a PM :)

my B/S/T thread (that I try to keep somewhat current) can be found HERE

Whoa I actually want some of those, too bad they are not available here in Finland nor is any LOTR or Hobbit polybags
