I'm holding off on updating until we have verification, but if this is for real it checks off another bunch of items on our collective wishlist.

I think we can safely say something has been lost in translation. Whether this be an actual list someone has read, or their interpretation of what they've seen.

A number of the suggestions don't follow the Lego naming format (eg Grandma Visitor, rather than obviously being Little Red Riding Hood. As well as 'Ocean King', 'The Monster' etc etc) so 'Maid Marion' and 'Dr.Splitz' stick out like a sore thumb. That said, why someone would put such obvious gaffs on a fake list probably gives us more hope that it might be real (and a translation/interpretation issue).

There are a number on the list that people round these parts (including myself) have been hoping for, but I'll reserve 'rejoicing' until we see pictures :D

Well, I gotta say I like that a lot better than some sort of space Sasquatch. Interesting in that he's kind of a bridge between the "totally not Universal Monsters" and "totally not famous literary/folklore characters" sub-serieses.

Alien Trooper?

List is looking more and more legitimate. Unless he is galaxy patrol...

Either way, the space guys are going to freak out over that armor.

Yea that armor is awesome

And using that fig with armor and takeing the existing orcs Lego have released, to make and space orc army. And putting them against the galaxy patrol soliders, then we have our own Lego Humans vs Orcs in space :tasty:

The chicken suit guy has also appeared (as an advert for series 9, at the back of the 'Friends' version of the Lego Club magazine) so I'm guessing this list is pretty legit. That said, I still think a number of the 'official' names will be different, but pretty excited for Heroic Knight/Maid Marion/Caesar and most of this series to be honest.

Even more than the space guys, I can picture the post-apoc guys going berserk over that entire fig!

Sounds like a fairly legit line-up, especially accounting for the nomenclature LEGO's been using for these figures (and perhaps a bit of quirky translation).

Pricey as it's gotten over the years, LEGO has yet to come up with a line where I don't want a full case, and this wave probably isn't going to break the streak!

LEGO have just posted pictures of ALL series 9 figures (from behind) on their facebook page...

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 402&type=1

Looks like the heroic knight has the visor helm and small triangular shield.

Is that the new LOTR/highlander sword? Or something else
