I've decided to do up a large display type MOC, with different 32x32 modules. This isn't actually my first (I've got a mideast village) but that one isn't finished and I needed a change of pace. So I decided to do up a Monster Fighter themed set up. Here is the first module:

Interesting that the tentacled thingy seems to have had people sacrificed to it - that's an interesting twist on the subject.
Re: The Haunted Forest (Part 1)
Well, the twist is... it was going to be a dragon initially (one of the two from the Crown Knight sets), but when I put the dragon in the cave, he just looked goofy. And, as I dug through my box of animals, I couldn't find my Basilisk or any of the Viking Dragons, only a bunch of tentacles, it just kind of came about. I left the sacrifice post in because I thought it was creepier that way...Azaghal wrote:Interesting that the tentacled thingy seems to have had people sacrificed to it - that's an interesting twist on the subject.

I agree about the creepiness of the pole, and the tentacles make it even creepier, especially since they are, perhaps, unexpected coming out of a cave. I also like the birds, waiting for another victim to come and provide them a meal.

Dun dun dunnnnnnn!!
Nice work on the atmosphere of creepiness and death. Not a place I'd like to hang out at.
