My 2,000th post!
So I noticed that I was at 1,999 posts and figured that I should make #2,000 something memorable
I just wanted to say thank you to the amazing community that we have here at Classic Castle. It has been a fantastic 2k worth of community participation, and from Jambalayas to BrickCon planning to running the Lands of Classic Castle project, I've really enjoyed my time here.
Thanks in particular to everyone who reached out earlier this year to help provide Lego to the little boy who lost his collection in a fire. It was a really great feeling knowing that I'm a part of such a caring community.
Thanks to the admins and mods who help keep things organized and to the other people behind the scenes who make this site possible.
I've made so many friends through this site, many of whom I now know in "real life" and others who I've yet to meet, but who I talk to on a regular basis through PMs and other media like Flickr, email, or Facebook.
It has been a great ride so far, and I'm excited to continue to grow and expand the LCC project as well as the forum in general over the next year.
Thanks guys, and, as always, Keep up the good work!

Re: My 2,000th post!
I was going to do something for my 1000th post then accidentally went right by it
Just to add to what you said, Classic-Castle is what got me started in the online LEGO community and it's been a blast participating in the CCC and even the micro castle contest

Re: My 2,000th post!
Well said! And a very classy way to celebrate post 2,000 - I think any community would be happy/proud to have a member like that!
Besides, if you weren't here who would oversee all of those pesky gong farmers?

Re: My 2,000th post!
You know, CC is the first forum which I became very active and I am very glad to find it appears to remain largely as it was while I went hiatus.
2K posts is a big mile stone indeed, keep up the good work for the community!

That got me thinking... has CC been suffering from such individuals while I was away?ottoatm wrote:...who would oversee all of those pesky gong farmers?
