Library of the Red Monk

Post by Lego Enthusiast »

Finished this new build yesterday. I wanted to do more of a school/library looking building over that of a proper castle this time around. I also wanted to put a lot of focus on the interior and cover as many of the studs with smooth platform elements as possible. The only thing i don't really like about it is the exposed green baseplate.

I like the architectural style of this build as well. I think it looks neat and clean.

My one major critique of it, is what you have mentioned. The plain baseplate at the bottom. I think it would be very good for your build to have some form of landscaping, lawn work, in a nice clean manner as the building. Nothing to detract from it, but something to highlight it. :)

Excellent library! The exterior looks great, and the interior is superb. I like the walkway looking into the main library, and the furniture is very good :)
