a simple thing lego could do to make castle attractive is to take advantage of the plethora<sp> of mideavil weapons. Make things the other companies do not. Warhammers, septums, mauls, maces, pulaxes(the shorter virsion use din close combat. axe blade, point and hammer head). We could also have shields ranging from bucklers to tower shields etc. there are just so many neat weapons

I dont speak for TLG - but the company has voiced that it is more concerned with building and construction than on minifig armies and weapons.

Hence the Star Wars "megaphone" blasters.

I'd recommend the Little Armory (link on mainpage) and Isaac Yue's weapons if you'd like something a little different.

Yes, weapons would be good. An shields too. But I need some amour, plate, breat, or Samurai. More sets like 6009, so we can build armies. Thats all TLC, that all.

For the most part i agree with bruce.

I'd like to say something about jojo's point on more weapons being redundant though. He's right in that we really do not need more swords or bows or whatever, but what we do need are blunt weapons. In th elego world there are swords, polearms, missile weapons, but no blunt weapons. Granted you can make an ok warhammer with about three bricks but still....
