I'm new to the forum, and wanted to share something I made recently as a way to introduce myself. Introducing: the "Apothecary."
http://www.flickr.com/photos/72350671@N ... 244891826/
The apothecary is where people go to buy herbs, potions, tonics and medicines and the like. The shop owner (also called the apothecary) lives in a room in the tower above the shop. Most of his clients are friendly wizards, witches, and sorcerers, but an occasional warlock will visit and cause something of an uproar, with his burly guards. Above the apothecary's apartment is an observatory.
Here is the apothecary mixing potions...
An irritable warlock, accompanied by his beefy guards.
The apothecary's apprentice, sweeping the stockroom.
Trying to get some shut-eye upstairs...
The observatory.
I made this as part of a modular group of MOCs I was working on, thus the wall behind the building. Please follow the link above to see more (and larger) pictures.
I appreciate all comments, questions, criticisms!

Re: Apothecary
That's a big building/wall! I like your arrow slit design in the wall and the apothecary looks great. I like the stairs and balcony on the outside and there are lots of nice details on the inside:
the telescope, stairs, bookshelf, and the shop details

Cool! The apprentice is kind of fat.
Good idea using the jewel as a vial.

Re: Apothecary
Wow! Cool build! The ingredients hanging from the ceiling were a nice touch and I really like all the little bottles and vials of potions scattered around the shop. The observatory is my favorite

Re: Apothecary
Hey this is an amazing MOC! I love the fantastical height of the tower. You've got some great details jammed in here, both inside and outside. That wooden spiral staircase is particularly cool. Welcome to CC, and keep it up!
