LCC - Troll Dreadbringer

Post by Burlogh »

3 months earlier
Battle was over. Dead bodies lied around the barrack at the outskirt of Dalmanutha. Some loreesi guards, a few green skinned orcs but mostly lenfel knights. A whole army of proud young men. They were a glorious invading army a few hours before, swarmed the barrack in the faith of confident victory. But suddenly a band of ferociuos orcs appeared from the buildings and they changed the outcome of the battle.

Burlogh O'Rohal wiped the blood from his face and walked to the dying Sir Edvyn. - You fought well, old man. You defended the holding of Lord Mencot. Now go and meet your ancestors! The warchief saluted as life went out of the knight's body. Come on, lads, bury our fallen comrades then have a drink for their souls!

Two days later
Lord Mencot checked the list of casualties then left out a loud sigh. - Warchief Burlogh, I need to thank for your intervention. Without you I would have lost not only all my brave soldiers but my barrack and my supplies. Please, name the price of your help.
A wide smile spread across the troll's face. - Do't worry, human, you can keep your money. I only need a small favour. Grant me acces to the Great Library of Dalmanutha...

Nowdays
And that is the true story how Bleeding Claws get the newest plans of the greatest military engineers in Roawia.

Absolutely fantastic! It sure is good to have the Warchief on our side!

I would LOVE to see this thing sieging an epic castle. I've been dabbling in siege weaponry lately and this really gives me some good ideas :)

Is the big troll on top a stone-thrower of sorts?

One day in the far future you can see. Just be patient. Very patient. I've made some fast calculations about a castle but when I noticed it would cost more than our living room I delayed the project :D

Wow, what a mighty tower! This thing is huge. The wheels are sweet, and I love the fact that it is being pulled by dinosaurs.
You would rather be building right now.

Not only the Tower is awesome but the Orc figures as well, top notch! The wheel spokes, the Triceratops, the shielding around the top part...wow! Kudos to you. I can imagine seeing this in one of those 5 figure European layouts.

Very nice. The triceratops could almost serve as battering rams of the sort, or, after they get to the wall for the siege tower, cut them loose and let them run crazy on the enemy. The enemy tries to defend against the tower, but with those massive stones being thrown from above, they can't put their focus on the tower.

A lot to think about with this bad boy
