For the past several years, I've been wishing there was a nice reference to castle factions.
I'd love to have a full reference of the minifigs like the old Fibblesnork data base.
I'd also love to have the reference include pictures of all the sets for each faction.
As I build my castle world, it would just be nice to be able to quickly see what LEGO did with each faction, and then decided if I like their color schemes and minifigs or want to go my own way.

Re: Reference of castle factions
I agree, this would be an awesome resource. If someone wants to make a new and updated version of Fibblesnork, or the old Minimundo site, we would certainly host it here. At some point I'd love for us to overhaul our set listings here, and making them cross-searchable by faction and fig would be a great thing to include. In the meantime, the best thing is probably Bricklink, I suppose. You can go to the catalog/minifigs page, then pull up different factions as thumbnail galleries.

Re: Reference of castle factions
I have never heard of Fibblesnork or Minimundo but this is a site that I have found to be useful resource. http://www.rittersets.de/
It has every castle faction listed from 78 - the current line. The sets are listed by faction, but you can search by year or number. It has all the sets and images of each figure that came with the sets.
The only problem is that the site is in German but its quite easy to navigate even if you can't read German.
Hope its of some use.

It's been ages since I've looked at Rittersets - I didn't realize that Jojo has continued to update it.

Re: Reference of castle factions
The "evil" factions from the newest lines are missing and are categorized under the good ones, so it is not really faction based

Re: Reference of castle factions
I might be interested in helping out with making a reference! If the community feels like there is a high need for it, then I would love to do it!
Re: Reference of castle factions
I have long wanted to update the Faction article(s) on BrickWiki. We already have 'stubs' on the Black Falcons, Forestmen and a few others. If someone can provide the pictures I am happy to help organize and format.
