Series 12 Minifigures and LEGO Movie sets
Re: Series 12 Minifigures Unveiled
Huh.
That's actually not too bad -no castle figs, of course, but I see three different zombies (actually, from the names given they may be robots, which would be significantly less neat), and there's a few others with interesting-looking parts.
So, not a home run, but not a strikeout either.

Here is a pic for those who are too lazy to "jump".

The new Shakespeare fig is tops for me, but there are tons of new parts that will be awesome for castle figs, particularly some of the new hair molds and the two new female figs with dresses. The zombie with dynamite looks useful as well. Woohoo!!

Re: Series 12 Minifigures Unveiled
I would count the new Shakespeare fig and the mermaid as at least castle-adjacent. Some other nice figs in there as well. What in the world is going on with pantsless guy?!?!? Also, extremely angry business guy is another very odd figure.
-Edit- Oh, I forgot, this series of figs is related to the LEGO Movie. So presumably angry businessman is some sort of antagonist in that movie. Still, pantsless guy? Is this movie going to be rated R?

Re: Series 12 Minifigures Unveiled
Well, he *does* appear to be wearing underwear...
The heroine in the black dress is about as ooh-la-lah as it gets for minifigs. She'll make an excellent addition to castle, pirate, and wild west MOCs, for sure.
I'm also very happy with TLG's new emphasis on shorter beards. It is awesome to be able to give a fig some facial hair without totally covering up his torso print. Now I just wish that more of them were compatible with the standard nose guard helmets.

Wow, this series is pretty good! I am digging that new Shakespear, Abraham Lincoln is pretty awesome as well. I love all the new hair designs! I am definitely looking forward to these!

So I think that guy holding his pants is a "frat boy" or a "party boy"...or a "streaker"...why it exists...good question. Any of those doesn't seem like something LEGO would produce, but I'm just guessing.

I want that panda now!!!! This is a pretty good set. It looks good at the moment, but i'm sure my feelings toward it will change. All the zombie figures are nice. Shakespeare is sweet too.

Re: Series 12 Minifigures Unveiled
I have mixed feelings about this set same as the last. However I will be getting a panda for our friend. As well as both the skirts! They are great! Also get an old cat lady for her hair. Other then that the rest of the set is ehh... an I agree with purple, the zombies look more like robots to me.

Re: Series 12 Minifigures Unveiled
Welp! Time to update the wishlist again! Believe it or not, there are a few items we can check off with this one: Construction worker (and the similar road construction worker), Tourist ("Where Are My Pants?" Guy seems to have the look being sought), and Panda Suit Guy being the main ones. It also gives additional options for things like Mermaid and Punk/Goth Girl, and anyone looking to create Amish folk can use the Lincoln figure's head and beard.

Hey,
In addition to releasing the picture of the collectible figs, LEGO also released a picture of this set from the movie:
To me it looks like something from the Sugar Rush game in Wreck-It Ralph. BTW, note that the two protagonists are being chased by some robot/zombie guy, so presumably these, of which there are three in the collectible series, are going to be the antagonists for much of this movie.

Candy land. Not a bad set I mean there white peaces and I do have uses for pink. All in all it's a okay set I may end up getting one.Bruce N H wrote:Hey,

Re: Series 12 Minifigures Unveiled
Not too interesting to me. I guess that those grey guys are robots, but will work easily as zombies for those who need more. I'm going for Lincoln, Panda, Mexican, Shakespeare, and mermaid, though I do like the printing on the cat.
