This is phenomenal. The lighting is absolutely amazing, your Link is perfect for the scene as well. I love how the torches are, extremely accurate to the ones featured in multiple dungeons in Ocarina of Time.

Looking forward to more of your creations, hopefully a few more of them will be Zelda themed.

Hey,

I'm not going to comment on the quality of the MOC at all, as I don't want to be in anyway prejudicial as a judge. However, I just wanted to note that, even though this MOC very much fits in with the idea of illumination, it will go in the Misc category. As noted in answer 15 here the other categories are fig-scale. That question was asking about microscale MOCs, but could also be applied to miniland-scale or other larger scales, such as here.

Sorry,
Bruce

No worries Bruce. That's my fault; I read the Rules section proper, but missed the 4 pages of Q&A regarding them. Now, if I want to do two other entries for the Misc category, I can pull this one, correct? I'm assuming entries aren't set in stone until the contest ends?

Thanks,
-Chris

Wow, well done! I love it! Too bad it doesn't fit in the lighting category, it still is a really awesome creation!

Yeah, the 4 pages of Q&A make quite a bit of reading. Sure, you can enter two different things for misc. You actually haven't entered anything yet, because you'll need to enter these in our contest entry page, not just post them in the forum. The contest entry page isn't yet live, because we're going through a server change, and Dave and Ben wanted to wait until after everything was transferred over, just to make the transfer simpler. There will be a big announcement on the front page and in the forum once the entry page is live.

I should clarify that once the contest entry page is live and people do submit entries, we do ask that they not withdraw or change those entries. But that's unrelated to posting in the forum. For instance, people could post and discuss WIPs in the forum, but submitted entries should be final.
