GCVI-LCC-Darkness is Upon Us by Justin M I have been riding for days now; with a hungry belly and tired feet I stop to rest at a small brook.
Unsaddling from my horse, I then realize the water is polluted.
Walking farther down stream I notice a man, nothing more then a mere skeleton now, hanging from a tree branch with a noose around his neck.
I rush over out of curiosity when noticing a note tied to his left hand. It says, “The rebellion has begun, no longer will Queen Galainir rule these lands!”
A flash of hope runs through my brain, I think back to when the lands were filled with joy and prosperity. The note in Queen Galainir’s dead soldier's hand almost makes me feel like things are back to normal again. But then, off in the distance I hear a twig snap, and reality comes back to me in an instant, then blackness devourers me.
