Can't figure out what set I had.

Post by fulllego »

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I'm new here. But years ago I had a small grey castle, it's figures were guys with holes in their heads that their helments had pegs for. I can't seem to find it anywhere online. I'm not sure if it's lego, but it is compatible with them if it's not. It's actually my first castle set I got, that got me into lego castle. Here I am 20 years later and can't figure it out.

The shields to it where all different designs. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Can't say I can help you except to say that it is definitely not Lego from what it sounds like.

Don't know if I can help. But I seem to remember Mega Blocks with attachments like that many moons ago. Though I might be wrong.

Welcome in any case.

Yes, that set definitely doesn't sound like LEGO! It may well have been from a clone brand such as Megabloks.

Hmm, I agree that it doesn't sound like it was made from Lego. How big were the figs? Were they minifig sized, or bigger?

About the same size bit the hands didn't detach. They were alittle wider. The spears were also longer. I'll try to take pictures.

Hey their fulllego! First off, Welcome to Classic-Castle!
I can't pin-point a set form the description you gave but of you check out this website: http://www.brickset.com/search/?Theme=Castle
Its a list of all the LEGO castle sets ever sold, perhaps its in this list. Otherwise, you may be able to locate other old castle sets you owned. :)

From your description of it, I doubt that it is LEGO. Probably a clone brand like Megabloks.

Hmm, as everyone else said, it's most likely not Lego but a Clonebrand. Brickset (if anything) will help you figure it out.

I had a lego clone castle set when I was a kid as well, perhaps it was the same one. The swords were shiny silver and the flags and shields had stickers you had to apply. it also had black 1 handed battle axes.
