Congratulations to the General brothers JJ for a glorious win for Garheim! The CCC and this last GC really taught me about matching your build to the theme intended and you guys pulled it off perfectly with an awesome build.
Congrats to Lenfald - Sergeant Chipmunk and Caelan - for a very close second! And congrats all around for so many great builds! Glad to be a part of LCC!

Re: Global Challenge VI - A Glimmer of Hope - Voting Thread
Congratulations to General JJ for their second GC win, two in a row, very impressive. You two have become the guys to beat now!
Sergeant Chipmunk did a wonderful job in so little space, so clever, I really hope you keep it as a permanent build. Congrats, fellow Lenfel
Soccerkid6, love that Thenwell Castle, it's such a sweet build. We'll take 'em next time Isaac.

Re: Global Challenge VI - A Glimmer of Hope - Voting Thread
First off, congrats to General JJ and the rest of Garheim for the win! Well fought!
Second, congratulations of course to Caelan and Sergeant Chipmunk for the Restricted, and Vignette category wins! Excellent work Lenfald!
Now, I saw AK Brickster's posts regarding Global points and voting points being different, etc in the Lenfald thread, but I feel that here would be a better place to post my thoughts on this.
10 global points to the winner of the Vignette Category
30 Global Points to the winner of the Restricted Category
50 Global Points to the winner of the Unrestricted Category
50 additional Global Points to the Winner of the Global Challenge.
Remainder edited out due to brainlapse.

If I might make a suggestion? I believe a good format would be the following, where a category victory translates to the following points for each category:AK_Brickster wrote:As noted in the GC thread, the voting points do not equal Global Points.
I need to confer with the KC on how we will be doing global points for this new GC format.
10 global points to the winner of the Vignette Category
30 Global Points to the winner of the Restricted Category
50 Global Points to the winner of the Unrestricted Category
50 additional Global Points to the Winner of the Global Challenge.

Re: Global Challenge VI - A Glimmer of Hope - Voting Thread
Five points would probably be too high, which is why it is three points per vote.Lord Mercat wrote:That said, after this contest, I am of the opinion that the 5 points per vote for the Unrestricted Category is too high.
It's equal, right now, actually.Lord Mercat wrote:I say this because the points of the unrestricted category are worth more than both the vignette and the restricted category combined.
In this instance, it seems to be greater, but that is merely because the brothers received the majority of the votes. They received two-third of the total votes, so with any point multiplier the outcome is going to seem great.
Prime example is the "Restricted" category. Lenfald's entry dominated the votes so much that adding up the other three factions from both the "Restricted" and "Vignette" categories does not even surpass the value of Caelan's.
Do not let any one build be the clear winner of a category, and no one tier will seem so overwhelming in regards to its weight towards the outcome. The system is fine, in my opinion.
