Naughtston Abby

My entry to the seed part challenge! :)

Naughtston Abby by Brother Steven, on Flickr

On a warm, sunny afternoon, Brother Steven was at his usual place in the abbey library, quietly studying passages of the Holy Scriptures and contemplating ancient texts, The atmosphere of the little alcove was pleasant, cheerful and inviting. Without a doubt, it was his favorite retreat for a bit solitude and seclusion.

Great build, Brother Steven, and the lighting is just brilliant. I really like the design of the book.

I'm a bit late here but brilliant work! The furniture is excellent, and so are the candles, and as Bruce said, the lightning is really well done.

The lighting is superb, but even without that the vignette is amazing. I love all the details--especially in the ceiling and architecture, which you did perfectly even though they are hardly visible--and the seed part was cleverly used. It is a joy to look at.
