King's Quest
King's Quest
This is very loosely based on the beginning of King's Quest. Careful with that boulder, Graham!
The minifig is pretty bad, but I did what I could with the parts I had.

Very interesting bridge there and a very nicely done build
Re: King's Quest
King's Quest was one of my favorite adventure games. I remember playing through it multiple times trying to figure out all the mysteries. Great MOC of the starting castle and the fig looks good too. The only thing that's missing is an alligator in the moat ready to eat your player/fig if they accidentally dip their toes in the water!

Re: King's Quest
Thanks. Indeed, wanted to add that but that would have required to increase the water level and wouldn't have worked that well with the crystals.
Lion statues are also missing.

Re: King's Quest
The castle curves and flat tan path with highly textured landscaping creates a unique building style that does resemble a video game.

Re: King's Quest
You could always try just having the head of the alligator popping out of the water and not having the body at all. That way you give the illusion of danger but don't have to devote the space needed for the full alligator body.
This makes me want to see other scenes from the King's Quest games (Fairy Island in KQ4 for example would be GREAT as a MOC).
