Hey guys,
In gaming I posted on the upcoming LEGO Dimensions game. That game will include figs from various internal and licensed themes, like the LEGO Movie, Batman/DC, Back to the Future, Ninjago, etc, but interestingly also includes the Wizard of Oz:
Did I miss something? Is there a Wizard of Oz theme coming out? Or is there a Wizard of Oz set coming out of Cuusoo/Ideas (e.g. note that Back to the Future is part of this game)? Oz is owned by Warner Brothers, who also put out the LEGO Movie, so there is a relationship there, but it seems unlikely to me that this is a throwaway just for the video game. If they were negotiating rights, it seems likely to me that LEGO wants to do more with Oz.
Anyway, is this something I missed previously, or perhaps a hint of something upcoming? What do you think of the possibility of an Oz theme?

Re: Is a Wizard of Oz theme in the works?
There was some chatter on Eurobricks speculating that this was the reason a recent Wizard of Oz Idea was rejected (along with the Jules Verne Train from Back to the Future ), but I don't know if that - i.e., Ideas getting rejected if they are to close to another upcoming product - are actually something that happens, or indeed if there was in fact a recently rejected Oz project.
That said, it is somewhat odd that Oz would be the one new license for this project, though of course it's only been live for a day - more announcements are definitely forthcoming. For example, when the Doctor Who Idea is finally revealed (I actually thought that's what all the viral marketing this week was about) I am quite sure it will be incorporated somehow - the "Fun Packs" seem tailor-made for getting AFoL&tDs (Adult Fans of Lego & the Doctor) to shell out exorbitant amounts of money so they can put their favorite Doctor with the TARDIS (which I assume will form the core of the Idea set).
Also, it wouldn't surprise me if - in fact, I sort of hope that they do - TLG comes out with a wave of more typical "Dimensions" sets, similar to the LEGO Movie line. From the looks of things, these would feature Oz quite heavily (along with 1885 Hill Valley, which I'm assuming is the backdrop for all the western shots )

A real, theme would be exciting, but without some kind of movie tie-in, I can't imagine they'll do more than make a few of the core characters. Some real sets though would be awfully cool!
