I did indeed - made perfect fodder to feed to my Dragon :-P
Excellent! So...do you think I outdid Bronx?
No idea - but I think the bar has been set high!

Box went out the other day, will post tracking info once I find it. Shipped it UPS since my wife gets a cut-rate deal through work, so it should arrive very soon to soccerkid!

Just send the tracking to Bronx. I have a pet peeve about posting tracking numbers in public forums.

Quick update - went through the box last night and it is amazing! Gripload of minifig parts, accessories, horses.... There is even a warg in there. Plenty leaves, and of course some bricks for building. I have made a first pass as to what interests me and now I have to see what I have to offer in trade. In any case I should have the box out at the latest on Monday (but quietly hoping for tomorrow)

Agreed. I believe I said to post tracking info, but it was really for me -- to maintain accountability. Send it to me privately once it has been found (if the box hasn't already been received).

I really like posts like these during Jams.

This isn't a race (our earlier posts regarding such were in jest), so take your time. Personally, I'd tell you to not break your back reaching for tomorrow. Monday is just as fine. Just keep us updated as you've done here.

With that, thanks for the update. And be sure to load the box with as much awesomeness in exchange to excite the next person as the box did for you upon arrival.

Sorry for the delay - crazy week at work. See link below for my puts and takes from the Winter box from Blue!

Hope you all like what's in there :)

:) Yeah I hear you about the "unrace" :) I just don't like to hold onto the box too long as I know folks anxiously wait for them.

In any case, I didn't get to finish the swap last night (got halfway done) and since tonight it's my anniversary, I'm not even touching the box :D

Quick update - I feel like a slacker as I'm only mostly done. I have to identify one more piece for the swap and I will be complete. I'm blaming a mess in my lego supply area (hard to keep things organized with a 3 year old that gets in everywhere)

I'm not participating, but if I were, I have to admit I'd be a little bummed at the gives/takes just now. Most of the gives are relatively common or not that desirable (stickers, "dumb guy" heads, log pieces, technic bits). I'm not going to nitpick, because everyone's interests are different, but I see your gives and there isn't anything that really excites me. When I see your takes, I see a lot of really nice fig parts / accessories and an expensive polybag. Stuff that I'd be excited to see coming my way in a Jambalaya that hasn't been replaced in like kind.

To quote a very wise man, "In trades, four quarters does not equal a dollar", meaning that 4 mediocre parts doesn't equal one really coveted one. You can't substitute volume for quality.

My suggestion would be to donate stuff that hurts to give away, if you're going to take something you're really excited to get (consequently, this is why I generally don't participate in jambalayas anymore. I would rather buy what I really want without giving away what I have that I really like, haha).

Just my unsolicited 2-bits. :)

AK - thanks for your input. I was struggling with this one as I was trying to find a way to transition the minifig heavy box to include more variety. In the past it was easier for me as wider variety allowed to pick and choose from categories and valuation was easier. In any case u value your opinion and since Curt is not going to be able to get to the box until next week I will take one more pass and sweeten the pot.

My post was added with more gives.

<edit> oh yeah, the cooler, rarer (from what I know) yellow head stack has rolled a bit in one of the original pics so you can't see them as well... oh well... box is packed and the heads are intermixes with the other heads that were originally there.... and lets not overlook the white head... I think it's one of the glowing ones.
