CCC Update

Post by architect »

Hello fellow Classic-Castle members.

The CC Admin team needs a little more time preparing this year's Colossal Castle Contest. Please be patient. We hope to have the contest up about a week or so later than usual. Do not worry, we will extend the build times as well.

Thank you all for helping keep the castle building community alive and well. Happy building!

Would it be possible for builds posted in November, but before the CCC officially starts to still be allowed as entries?

I ask primarily because we set up the latest Guilds of Historica challenge to close November 3rd so people could enter builds here as well if they liked.
And obviously with the timing shift, that will be before the CCC opens.

Remembered it was November 1st so checked the front page and was slightly confused by the Master Builder announcement. Then realised that was last years!

Looking forward to seeing who comes out of the woodwork for this, feels like 2019 has been a quiet one for the castle communuity.

Thanks for the update. I was a little disappointed at first when I read about this delay, but on second thought, I think that pushing back the contest a little bit into January might work better with my schedule in terms of creating entries for the contest. :)

I'm not ready! I'm not ready!

Oh, CCC isn't either? Cool, I got a few more days to prepare! I hope the categories are great, like they always are!

I'm sorry but no. The policy on the CCC is no builds are permitted that were seen online before the contest starts. That includes WIPs.
