CCC XVIII: Alnya Mountain Lodge

Felt great to build something castle again! This is an entry for the miscellaneous category of the Colossal Castle Contest, and I’m hoping to finish another entry before too long. Special thanks to John for the main photo edit.

Small lodges are common in Alnya to offer shelter and supplies for the various hunters and adventurers often far from towns or villages. On this snowy morning, Rydel sets out with his two dogs for a fine day of hunting. There are several game trails nearby that he feels confident will result in a good harvest.

The rockwork is great, the dark gray alone work really well.

My favorite is the door knob.

Wow, this is pretty cool. I just love all those icicles and the design of the tree just literally blows me away. I also like how you made the house brown, then the door blue. It's just so-o fantastic. Keep it up, Isaac!!!
