CMF series 21 - centaur

Post by Bruce N H »

Hi all,

LEGO released photos of the upcoming Collectible Minifig series 21. The are apparently changing to have 12 rather than 16 figs per series. The one especially useful one for fantasy castle builders is the Centaur. It uses the same horse body mold as the centaurs that were in the Harry Potter Forbidden forest set earlier this year, but in a different shade of brown, and of course it will be really easy to identify these by feel, so you can easily expand your centaur army (herd?).

Here are the others. The Aztec warrior is the only other one that is castle-adjacent. There are several that are cute.

The centaur looks nice and the torso looks great and very usable. The Aztec warrior looks great too. Hopefully I can build my centaur army with this series as i have the Harry Potter set with the 2 centaurs. That hermit crab is awesome though, hoping we get that mold in some city sets so it might be on bricks and pieces.

And the best part about the centaur, is the torso is not gender specific. You can make an army of male of female with that torso, and a nice torso it is.

Wow! An Aztec battle club!

I'd say there are a lot of things here that are castle-worthy. Certainly the lady-bug and the show girl have a fantasy/fairy vibe about them. No medieval economy would be complete without beekeepers... although, I can't say that this beekeeper has period correct garb, but I wouldn't notice the difference. The violin piece… I don't know if this is new, or if it's been out for a while, but it would certainly fit—I'd like to equip one of my jesters with it. And what castle estate would be complete without a hermit living in a grotto somewhere on the grounds? I would love a little army of those hermit crabs! Not to mention again the aztec warrior.

If you want a particular one, just feel for it. I got mine from BigW so I could feel for it! Here is a feel guide:

Bishons,

The key to good MOC building is a large brain and a kinda big wallet
