Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures

In what I am sure is a complete surprise to everyone, LEGO recently revealed the full lineup of the upcoming D&D minifigure set.

They can currently be preordered for a September 1 release, and Brick Fanatics has some closeup pictures.

I of course plan to try to get all of them, and find it particularly amusing that LEGO chose to use classic yellow for the Gith.

There are some nice looking parts on some of these, but as a whole, It's not my cup of tea, so it's an easy pass for me.

None of these are "must-have" for me, but every single of them have some nice parts. Lots of good torsos for example. I don't even know which ones I would prefer to get. I'll surely buy some though, knowing this time there won't be a chance I'll be dissappointed

Surprising choice of theme indeed. Space minifigs were released before, which made me think something similar with classic castle themes could potentially happen eventually. Maybe if these D&D ones get pre-ordered much, it will give some hope for that

A classic castle set would be a dream come true! But this one looks great. I agree with Kurojaki that nothing jumps out, but all look great to me and anyone wanting to include fantasy elements in their castle building.

Hey all,

Since I've been out of the loop for a long time there are parts that may have shown up before, but I've never seen them. The collectible line has always been good for new molds. Unfortunately in past CMF lines there have sometimes been new elements that didn't then go into regular use in other sets. Anyway, here are the new (I'm assuming) parts that seem the most generally castle useful:
- battle axe (dwarf barbarian)
- dagger (gith warlock)
- baby dragon (tiefling sorcerer)
- new armor mold (dragonborn paladin)
- new shield print (also dragonborn paladin)
- new bow (eagle warrior)
- new lute print (elf bard)
- two new elf-ear hair pieces (gith warlock and elf bard)

As far as new torso prints, several seem like they could easily mix into a castle setting. The most generally useful IMO would be the eagle warrior and the elf bard.

Parts are all I see. The figs themselves, meh. I regularly have partners that I split cases with. This one I might not bother.
