hardest to find misb set ?

is it even harder to find than the 375 ?

at the same time (any one) have any idea how much will the price for a misb 375 be? any chances of finding it?

Even the LEGO vault does not have a misb weetabix castle. But for modern era castle sets (1978+) the most rare set is probably 6103 Knights (Chevaliers in French) which was a Canadian exclusive in 1985. The vault has one copy of it.
And no, this isnt the same as 6103 Castle Minifigures which was released later in 1988.

MISB Yellow Castles will be atleast $300 on ebay, if not more and they dont come up often.

Considerably. It is a UK-only mail-in cereal premium set from the early 1970's or before.

Hello!

The cheapest MISB yellow Castle that I witnessed being publically sold on the internet was EUR 296.- (about $290 then and $375 (!) now (Wow, what a slump in exchange rate!)). It was only that "cheap" because nobody but me took notice of the respective auction...

No, I don't "own" that set. Though, *cough* everybody should be able to assemble these figs from their loose parts.... That's what I did.

Since I was allowed to visit the vault in Billund/DK I have a new definition of what is "rare": Rare is what not even TLC themselves have a MISB copy of. And I didn't find there a copy of above said Weetabix Castle, nor do they have a MISB 918 Space Transport.

The "vault" sets are kept for legal reasons and are not for sale. Only a few lucky fans have been able to go there. So setting up a tour will not happen for all of CC. But Jojo is right, most of these rare misb sets can be assembled on your own with pieces from other sets.

You said Ben, that Lego have a copy of the 1985 canadian 6103 ! So this set really exist ! I thought it was put on the catalog by mistake or it was suppose to be released then they change their mind at the last minute.

Hi David,

Jojo saw a copy of this set misb in the Billund vault earlier this year. They only had one copy. I cant seem to find the link to the whole image but lugnet and rittersets have the cardboard top part scanned. So yes, it did exist.

It exists; I think I have this set. I certainly have the red-shirted archer with the two axes crossed on his chest. And I had the round shield until it broke (I have more now from other kits). The thing is, this set got played with a lot, and basically all the pieces are toast. The poor guy with the axes, he was a one-of-a-kind for me... his emblem turned black over time and his arms don't stay up too very well. And my poor, poor round shield... as my fav. shield, it got lots of use, which is why it broke. Sigh.

So, while I had this kit, I certainly don't consider that I still have it, since even though I technically have all the parts, it's just scrambled, or damaged, and I certainly don't have any kind of box or instruction sheet. But it sure was fun to play with when I was a kid!

The problem Mr Shiny and New is that all parts could come from others sets. Pieces are all easy to find. The fact that the arms doesn't stay up prove that you played a lot with them and that you changed arms when you were young.

Anyway, if you own this set you're very lucky.
