Castle layout by Lowlug at Legofestival in Brussels

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey,

The title says it all. Lowlug members Thomas, Ineke and Saskia (or so I gather) created this massive castle layout for the recent Legofestival in Brussels.

I saw that castle layout earlier on brickshelf.

It was pretty cool to look at.

Very cool.

I like the church and the crosses on the roof, a very nice detail. The large red building also looks great, I like the red and grey combination on that one.

Great work!

The MOCs are all great. Loved the church.

But what I really liked about the pictures is that they all make the MOCs look like a brightly-lit town at night. I realize that this has to do with the lighting of the building they're in, but it was something I found funny.

Well this is quite an impressive town. The detail of it gives the feel of a real town, with all the little storys going on betweent he people. I wish there was a picture of the whole town. I was a little confused.

Looks very nice and intersting, but nothing that I haven't seen hundreds of times before.

Thanks for mentioning our layout :)
The pictures I've taken are not intended to give the "by night" feel, it was just that I was using the flash when I shouldn't have ;)

I only made a small contribution in the castlelayout with my Brickerlo Castle (CCC entry last year).

Really?

I did not see that castle there. I really did like that one too!

Ok, here's the evidence :)

Thank you for your comments on our layout. It is nice to have my MOCs noticed. (My MOCs: the big red building, the small farm houses and the yellow houses. All (except the big red one) have interiours).

For me it was also the first time showing my creations like that. Working with others was great fun. And the minifigs really made it come alive.

Thanks,
Ineke
