Zelda

Post by Ja_izzle »

I just wanted to address the Lego company, and say I bet they could sell a ton of products if they came out with a new line of Legend of Zelda Legos... i dunno, if they'd be able to get the rights to it, but i think it would be sweet...

Jason

I'd want a sheik fig for sure, actually i'd want like an army of them for the race of sheikahs... and think of remaking the cavetroll with it tan, more buff, and a cool head, and having gorons.... i dunno...

If you use Padmé's face from Star Wars, clip the bottom and bows off a face cloth from the Wild West line, use Gildroy Lockhearts Hair from Harry Potter all with a custom Torso Decal you can make your own Shiek.

TLC will never make a Zelda or Pokémon line.

I think popular culture sets are a blockade for imagination(harry potter, nba, spiderman). They are just produced for earning money by using what's popular. I think TLC must come up with their own stuff instead of basing them on something.

Several LEGO press releases have stated that they want to go away from liscensed deals into their own themes. This saves money for LEGO so fees do not have to be paid to other companies. Of course when Zelda was out in the 80's we just used our forestmen to make him :) Much has been invested in KK2 so I would imagine that we will see it for the next year or two atleast.

A Zelda Megafigure would be seriously cool... :P

I would like to see a Zelda theme, that is if it were a carbon copy of the Castle 1986 line. Yeah, Zelda could work!

That would be cool if they had a Zelda line. I doubt it'd ever happy.

If they DID have a Zelda LEGO line, they'd probably just mess it all up and make it lame. For example peach skin.... What a BAD idea!

The thing with Zelda is that it is a licensed theme. Even if the sets are great, LEGO will lose out in the end because of the royalties to be paid, and the fact that they will be even more associated with those licenses, and less as their own brand, which is to their detriment.

MEGAfigure. Don't kill me.
Yeah, I'm a KK2 dork. No denying it. But I like the old castle. Its kind of what happens when you are are born in the Time of Change. :P

Let's assume that by "megafigure" you mean something like those large, canistered KK2 knights, also known in certain circles as Bioni-Knights.

If this isn't the case, we would have to assume you mean megabloks-figures, and have to shoot you.

I'm talking about LEGO Knights Kingdom style. NO MEGABLOKS!

Megacrap has no skill, they have to get ideas from LEGO!

Thanks for that link Lone ranger, i've seen it before, and i still think that it is a masterpiece.... of course, i'd rather see a sheik or rauru minifig, but this is still great...I think the best part of it is the customized sword.... that is awsome.
