Righto! I think we've got lots of cool arrow slit designs ... and since I'm fresh out of produce (and ideas) I need you all to place your drawbridges in the public forum--where I can steal them. *grin*
No, seriously -- how about some ideas? I will have something tomorrow -- who else has the cool design? Does not have to be new, but MUST be cool. I've heard a moat-monster under the drawbridge is a requirement.

Don't have much time for this today but here's a quick shot at my drawbridge.
Look at my post called "Castle Under Construction"
or
For allthe lazy people in the crowd

The drawbridge is the acces of the keep on the elevated baseplates, it
keeps bad guys out of the
keep
that's my Drawbridge folks,
Now where did I put that Brick separator?

Caesar, I can't see how the draw-bridge is attached to the door-way. Could you provide some close-ups? Very nice castle, by the way.

Hold that thought until the first of March, Dave. Great minds think alike, apperantly.
See here
http://www.classic-castle.com/howto/articles.html under "Contest" for some initial details. The "March" link is broken on purpose (it's not March yet)

Yippy! So, exactly what will the contest be contesting. MOCs? Articles? Techniques? Or will it vary.
