Trouble w/ Brickshelf

Post by Anubisconq »

Have any of you guys ever had trouble with Brickshelf.com?

I have made an account, but I cannot access it! Do you have any suggestions? Are there are other free websites to put pictures on?

Well, when you recieve the confirmation e-mail (did you?), you have to click the link provided to sign in for the first time, but if you did that and it doesn't work, then I don't know how to help you. If you didn't recieve the confirmation e-mail, then you should contact the Brickshelf administration.

I've heard of a lot of people haveing trouble recently, and it seems it just takes a while for the notification email to come, but I can't really help much more than that.

Flickr's great, I have an account there for my "normal" photography. You could try imageshack.us and photobucket.com as well though, they're both good. :)

I also tried to open an account earlier this month and have yet to receive the confirmation email. However, I was able to resurrect an old account. I tried emailing Support, but I received no response.

I use the imageshack.com for sketches and such. It works well.

I was about to start a thread about this. A little advice, don't try to log in when you don't have the confermation e-mail.

I myself, can't get mine to work. I've gotten my password e-mailed to me at least a zillion times and it won't let me. I asled them to destroy my account and I don't think they deleted my e-mail cause when I try to re-register it says "e-mail address already used". *pumps shotgun and screams with an ear-splitting scream of frustration*.

Any tips?

Even when your accont is deleted, the e-mail address is "used". You'll have to set up a new one to re-register.

I also did not receive a conformation e-mail either. I tried e-mailing support, but I did not receive anything. Any suggestions?

I can see two ways to go from here. (Which may not be the only choices...)

1-create a new email addy and use that to try and sign up

2-go with one of the other sites like flickr.com There are several folks here who use that to post pics, so it can't be all that bad.

(or just wait longer to see if that confirmation shows up...)

I don't know what's going on with bricklink lately. I had a couple pics which took like two days to be moderated, maybe they're short staffed?

I had an account with Brickshelf that took forever to get activated, so I finally got a new account and that was ready pretty fast. That's why my member name there is HenrytheV2. :D

Right! Thanks for catching that, my head isn't in place from all these darn term papers. They sound too alike...
