Guess what I made everyone! An archer window!!

Hey everyone, guess what I made! Did you guess archer window? You're right!! I figured, everyone else is doing it. I could get into this. And I did!
Here's a shot of how it looks from the outside. (And another without flash.)

If my photography skills are inadequate to give you a sense of how I did this, just say so. I can always take some more.

EDIT: Also, does anyone have any ideas for an archer window involving technic bricks or pins? I've been brainstorming on that for a while...

Not so much photography, as using black makes it a bit of a challenge to see clearly. But not a fatal one. You use an interesting approach without any side stud bricks. Is there any slippage problems for the SNOT pieces when the whole thing is assembled? That's been my biggest challenge.

EDIT: Also, does anyone have any ideas for an archer window involving technic bricks or pins? I've been brainstorming on that for a while...

Take a look at jb's offerings in one of the other arrow slit threads. He uses technic bricks.

Is there any slippage problems for the SNOT pieces when the whole thing is assembled? That's been my biggest challenge.

No, it's all nice and snug. But there is one problem which can be seen from the outside of the castle:

It's too tight to put a tile piece there. So there's 7 little holes in the wall next to each archer window. Now, to think of an excuse "Why I put those there on purpose."
