Allthough once I'm done with the map and giving the backgroundstory and history about the cities, landmarks, etc, I think it would be handy to use that as a sort of base to set your MOC's against, if you know what I mean
Are you still open for suggestions for the map, cause I have a few things on my own.
I have added them to this Map:
As you see I have got a few suggestions,
First of all, In my CIC my character comes from Elavia/Arragnos, the circle located on the leftbottom of the Map.
quote from my CIC
-The village were he lived with his father was called Elavia and was located into the woods of Lenfald somewhat close to the border of Lereos. But now, all that remains are ruins. The major of Elavia was no man of honour, he was in charge of most of the trades, but was also known to cheat. A couple of years ago he did bad business with a couple of Outlaw people as he had done before. But this time it went different: they came in the night with their torches and set fire to the peat located next to the village. The whole sky turned blood red. Only Kethean, his father, and three other villagers survived the attack. Because the town is now abandoned they renamed the ruins into Arragnos (which means something like 'day of ashes').
Secondly, I thought that because of we are Lenfald, and are !Forest! people we should have more towns located into the safe woods, that why I thought of the circle on the right near the top. I named it: Kansoloth but you can name it otherwise if you want, some history:
Kansoloth is a town located into the thick woods of Lenfald. It is here the the young lenfels are gatherd and trained for the battles they have to fight. The thick and dangerous woods around the town make it the ideal location and it also keeps unwanted visitors out, like enemies.
The name of Kansoloth is not given because of it's important role of training but for it's huge birdtower that fils up the centre of the town. Kansoloth means something like bird/messenger in elvisch. All of the mesenges are send by these birds, from and to the tower. It holds all of the records from places where troops are gatherd and does all of the administration of the faction Lenfald, this is why this 'town' is so important.
-I was also thinking of adding a giant library to the town, but then I thought I should be in our capital, what do you think?
Furthermore, I thought an other town to be located by the thirht circle, it's a place of peace and quiteness. The economy of the town runes from travellers and merchant that come to rest here. It is located at the river and at one of the most inportant trade lines in Lenfald, form the capital to Strongborough and back. No name yet...
And last but not least I thought that with all the isles, the left side was a little bit overdone, so I suggest to remove the village or make it less important of some sort.
Thank you for your time, I you have got any suggestions... I'll be around!
BTW sorry for my bad english, I hope you all understand what I'm trying to say.
