My Crownies are the biggest, although I don't know exactly how many I have. At roughly 3/4 that number, my skeletons and trolls are probably about equal. While they are a bit more expensive to acquire, I've been hoarding trolls ever since they came out. (I can't wait for the battle pack!)

I dont have many knights again I think my biggest army is the forestmen, I have so many of them :/

So in classic lion crusader:
10 archers
about 17 soldiers in 80's style
8 mens quite customized
6 heavy knights
6 knights 80's style
Black Falcon:
5 archers
5 crossbowman
10 mens
2 heavy knights
2 knights
Dragon 1989-92
10 archers
12 soldiers
4 heavy knights
4 knights in 80's style
And the others, perhaps about 10 forrestmens could be equiped but they're more often only civilians
5 wolves (knight and his attendant)
5 other mercenaries (knight and his attendant)
10 old soldiers of first serie
so about 130 mens, perhaps 60 of my childhood and others of second hand bought with castle pieces but it isn't my purpose.

I have about 70-80 Crown Knight minifigs, a few knight's kingdom figs, two forestmen and one black falcon guy. Sad, I know.

LOL. The WWII Army made me go into a state of shock for a year. Now that i'm out, I can finally say how bad my armies are.
My most troops are the trolls, of which I have 15 and an ogre. (no shields)
Then I have 11 Crownie Spearmen (no shields)
Then I have 3 dragon knights (I think that's what they are called.)
The trolls and spearmen cost me $94. I think i'm not gonna buy anything for a few years.

Yeah, know that sucks. So i almost HAVE to say (as some1 else already have said on this topic): its not all about the size of the army, its also about how you use it

Crownies : 14foot - 3mounted
Skeletons : 5foot - 4mounted - 1dragon
Orcs - 2foot(soon to increase drastically)

About 60 bulls, the greatest of all armies
and about 140 or so other factions...but they all do pale in comparison
