Thanks for the info AC. I trust from the pictures I've seen and what has been said that you can not feel what pieces are inside. If you can, you better hope you don't do it in front of me. We don't all "Play Well"

The Robin Hood figure looks great close-up, and goes well with the classic Forestmen.
I'll pull that silly head off and replace it with something else as soon as I get one, but otherwise I like him!
And looks like it's only the one plume, in normal red, and not a wheel of three. Too bad.

In
one picture I saw two red plumes laying next to the fig's parts. I'm thinking you might get two plumes, one being an extra piece. Hey, it's not as good as a plume wheel, but it's certainly better then getting just one plume.
God bless.

But the small feather was already re-introduced (without wheel?) in the vintage minifigure collection, right? And speaking of that, is there any comparision between an old forestman fig and the a vinage collection one? Or at least close up pictures of it, so you can see if it also used this new hat mold?

The same guy that recently uploaded the pics of the Robin Hood fig has now uploaded pics of
the Cowboy fig. Just thought I'd share that with everyone.
God bless.

Yeah, I saw that a little while ago! (I kept checking back to see if he would upload more too!

)
He looks pretty good. My 5 yr. old bro really likes him.

Cowboy looks great. His torso print goes very well with the original cowboys. I'm not sure I think Robin Hood fits well with the original forestmen (he's just too detailed compared to the simplicity of the forestmen).

I know I'm late to this party.... but darn, those look great! The caveman reminds me of Captain Haddock a bit though.

As a fan of the Castle Forestmen and Western series I think the Cowboy and Forestman would be my two favorites, personally. Props to LEGO for this release. So, do we have a date yet?

ooh.. They remade the bow and arrow mould.. So does that mean we might see more castle figures having bows instead of crossbows again?
Why would they bother remaking a bow mould that looks like the old one unless they were planning on using it more often.
Hopefully the new bows handgrip wont get chewed up when you put it in a figures hand .. unlike the old one.

Yeah.. I guess I did... Some sets are just out of my budget. Especially sets that are just a bunch of figures without a castle.
Do you think they are just testing the water with the minifigures? If some of the figures are very popular do you think Lego will build a theme around them in the future?

I hope they go with a caveman theme.

June 2010 for Series 1, and September(ish) 2010 for Series 2. At least, that's what I've been told.

My thoughts exactly.
