Hey guys,

The first collectible fig has appeared - Copmike of Eurobricks got a hold of one that turned out to be the spaceman.
On Eurobricks, On Mariann's blog
As Mariann points out, this proves that each individual pack will include a full fig, not a random assortment of parts. The other piece of news here is that there seems to be a new mold for a 3-long bar (the lightsaber/staff is a 4-long bar), so that might be a useful piece showing up in other sets.

Thanks Bruce! I read the whole review, and I can't wait 'till they hit shelves.I hope he gets that cheerleader!

I guess this shows that you can feel the parts inside :eyebrows: I can almost feel that Robin Hood in my hands... :)

The 3-long bar must also be the piece that comes with the magician as his wand. I agree, that piece will be useful. How I eagerly anticipate these minifigs!

I was in Argos today- they're advertising that they'll be available from May 1st in the UK, £1.99 each. :)

These figures are really amazing but blind packaging them is a major turn off for me.. If people want the figure why not give it to them? They pull the same Megablocks with action figures, if people like the character why make it hard to get? I just wish these were impulse sets. :?

You make it hard to get because kids like to say "Look what I have that you don't. I'm better than you!" Trust me I was a kid a few years ago and it really is quite enjoyable showing off and being in-your-face. Cant wait for robin hood and the cowboy and indian.

Not only that, but if you don't get what you want the first time, you're likely to buy again for another chance.

And that works.
MOCkingbird and I shared a box (dutch and german afols are buying these things by the box...), and still you want to buy a certain figure out of the box in the store.
My GF managed to feel through the bag that the figure inside was a clown, that gave a big kick :D
So, she's practising for the forestman now 8)

I just read this review and its one of the best i've seen. There's so many different pieces from these figures that I didn't realise that I wanted... but now I need them lol

Even the figures that don't fit into my castle set up have faces or hair that i can use. There's still a few figures that don't interest me like the crash test dummy or the wrestler but every other figure has parts that I can use. Didn't think I'd have any interest in the diver but he has a great expression on his face.

My local toy shop said they are getting these figures in within the next 2 weeks.. :D :D :D

Got my first two today - no joke, only two left, I would've had twenty or thirty otherwise. Caveman and the Cowboy.

The caveman's club is brilliant with lots of castle uses for trolls, barbarians or dwarves, the hair would work well for the latter too. The cowboy's dark tan is lovely- the heads of both figs would be useful both within Castle and Pirates.

:)

I've got them all apart from the Zombie..[getting that one tomorrow swapping for a spare spaceman with a friend... just like kids lol].
These new figures are great. i bought 42 of them from my local toy shops.. but somehow i didn't manage to get a full set. But I did manage to get 4 forest men and ninjas.
There's so many useful parts in these.. I've turned the cheerleaders into barmaids and the skater into a prince and a squire. i think I'll dress the crash test dummy in armour and use him for target practice :D
