Classic-Castle Coat of Arms
Could we represent Henry in some way on the crest? He is our mascot, after all...

You don't...don't...know who Henry...is?
Henry is Classic-Castle's unofficial mascot. he is passed from member to member.

From Lenny's BS Gallery:
The shield was an idea that the admins threw around for awhile, that was the design we ended up with. (Not final in any way)

I think this is a great idea. I was thinking of a shield with something on it, and banner like thing underneath saying Classic-Castle.

Just a thought: The crown could actually be used to represent the Lego community, as it is a symbol of loyalty.footsteps wrote:Use the sword in the middle, reversed so that it's pointing up, and the crown certainly represents the ultimate in "classic" castle.
As for the other two symbols for AFOLs and for Lego, hmmm, I'm at a bit of a loss as to the best approach. Who has ideas??!!!

Yeah, but how do you make a symbol that depicts a person complaining about the new colors?Formendacil wrote:And I would possibly suggest different designs. Like a 2x4 to symboized building. A sword to stand for figs and their battles. Something (I have no idea what: somebody else do the work, please!) to symbolized the AFOL community in particular.
Okay, I'll be serious for a second. It would be nice to have a symbol that was unique to this website, but it can't stray too far from the style or design of official LEGO crests because you want people to mentally associate that symbol with LEGO Castle.
If you just designed a random coat of arms for this website, people will definitely think "medieval" or "castle" when seeing it. However, something about the style needs to also imply LEGO, at least to those who would recognize it, or it won't have the correct impact on people viewing the crest outside of this website. Perhaps using a familiar shape would do the trick.

Hello!
Actually the shield that's depict in the header of this site is a Classic-Castle-only:
It's close but not exact to the shield of the 677-minifigs. In 677 the shield has a grey area instead of the white in the CC-shield.
This means there is no reason why CC should NOT be allowed to use the design of the shield in the header for any merchandising.
Bye
Jojo
