Kind of off topic, but where did you find out the names of the Blue Istari? Unfinished Tales identifies them only as blue, and passing off into the east.

On topic, I like the idea of having a Gandalf style wizard, with grey robes and a tattered hat. Majisto and Dumbledore looked to polished and affluent, in my opinion.

I think a red one would be cool. You never really see red wizards in fantasy stuff(except the stereotypical red and black enemies), so it would be cool to see how they made that work.

Frankly, I'd rather not have more pointy hats. Wizards, sure. But those things are virtually useless to me.

Definitely red wizards and black wizards. Although we sort of have these already, it would be nice to get a more readily available red wizard's hat and new 2x2x2 slope print for both of them.

Tan, white, and light grey would all be wonderful as well. Just think of the pieces!

Also, maybe some new beard molds, similar to RedBean's? They could be used for chieftains, dwarves, and warriors as well as wizards. That may be too expensive though. New beard colors, at least, would be a must, even if we didn't get new shapes. Brown, black, and tan at the very least.

I know! I always think it's kinda funny when I see a review of a Gandalf with a blue hat, and the review says 'you got his hat color wrong'. Although, I'm not quite sure Bruce didn't know that.

The names of the Blue Wizards are not truly official. They appeared in the old ICE MERP (Middle-Earth RP) books, and were kind of adopted unofficially. In the core material, Tolkien never names the Blue Wizards, as you say.

Well... I think a transparent wizard would be kind of cool, some elemental mage or what-not. Maybe a whole bunch of them; transparent red for fire, blue for water etc...

And NO pointed hats!

On the Blue Wizards, the names Alatar and Pallando were "official", in that they were written by Tolkien, but they never reached publication during his life, so you may call that "unofficial". I don't have my books with me, but it was either out of Letters of JRRT or Unfinished Tales. Wikipedia indicates it was from UT, but I'll dig out the books when I can to confirm this. Hmm, Wikipedia also says that alternate names, Morinehtar and Rómestámo, were given in Peoples of Middle Earth. I have to admit that I never read that -- I stalled out about half way through the whole History of Middle Earth 12 volume set and never even bought the last couple of them.

You may have been thinking of the Witch-King, whom Tolkien never named, but was named in ICE materials.

I would like a wizard that did not have a wizards hat. Perhaps something different than the usual European Folklore design, with those beards and pointed hats.
