Your latest version is much better and improved. The symmetry of the entrance make it feel more like a royal palace to me. The slopes also add subtle detail that have a nice overall effect. I also like the multiple arches of the entryway. Good job!
You would rather be building right now.

I really like the mottled look of the mixed colors. So I say mix.
