Actually, I was sort of tricked into seeing the 3-D version, they listed all the movie times online together and didn't differentiate which ones were 3-D. Of course I found that out once I got there and I wasn't going to wait another 2 hours for the non 3-D version. It was cool, but I kind of forgot I was watching it in 3-D after about the first 20 minutes.
My older brother is taking my younger one to see it for his birthday, I might be able to tag along.

I recommend the 3D version. I usually have strained eyes within 20 mins at most 3D movies, but it was seamlessly integrated in this film, and, well, everything was awesome!
I had 2 free tix to a pre-screening and took my non-AFOL neighbor with me, and we both looooooooved it!
Thanks for the recomendation AK! I have heard a couple mixed reviews but most positive. One girl at work went an saw it with her kids, she said they loved it. However she waa board halfway thru.
Jen an I however cant wait to go. Our daughter unfortunitly still has the attention span of a nat so wont be going just yet.

Y'all are so lucky that you get to go see it!! I probably won't be able to see it for a long time, if ever. I think my mom doesn't think it looks good at all, because when I asked her about going to see it, she "that's not what we want to be spending our money on" so the chances are slim . However, some friends that we saw DOS and Frozen with were wanting to know if we wanted to go see it with them, so there might be a glimmer of hope(pun intended )
I HAVE NOW SEEN IT! That was an awesome movie, a MUST Watch!
I have to say, after reading this thread, many reviews, I was excepting quite a lot from this movie, and it far exceeded what I was expecting!

Did anyone else catch the throwaway references to "macaroni bricks" and "cheese slopes" in the construction scene early in the movie? I thought that was a nice little nod to the fans.

There were several all over the movie. So no, you weren't the only one. My LUG saw it together and we were giggling about it.

Yes! That was awesome, only I caught it, my brother did once I told him, and my younger brother just sat there confused. I liked that touch, I agree it was a nice shout out to FOLs.
