No, I just bought the 1,000 swords by themselves. But I am using the KK2 minfigs as soldiers in my own Ancients Theme.

I haven't thought of a real good use for the "jelly bean" knights, but, as I've brought out in many of my other posts, I am an avid Shadow Knights fan. I love there colors, the new helmets, thier shield design, and thier facial expressions. I bought 20 of the Vladek's Attack Kit when it was on Shop at Home for $29.99. I still have 10 unopened ones. The only thing I dislike about these knights is that you have a to amass a huge collection of the aforementioned "jelly bean" minifigs because sets include a mixture of both factions. #8800 is the only set to include only Vladek's faction, but i have yet to find these by themselves for under $20. I did get a deal when I found Vladek Encounter for $2.50ea at Wally-World. I bought all they had :D
Why do you need all those minifigs? You'll poke your eye out!

  What did that come out to? That must have been $$$$.

I have found some sort of use for the Jellybellies, but I had to mix them with some officer torsos from star wars to tone down the color a bit - we'll see how it all works out with them... I've seen other members here customize the KK2 minifig pieces so it all worked out well, so maybe it'll all be good.

I also like that map Hordesman - looks like you have a lot of ideas cooking over there ~ keep it up!

Well, I'm looking forward to the new Morcian Knights, who seem to be less of one single colour. And all the new Shadow Knights are amazing, and Vladek looks more imposing this time around. The structures appear to be more robust than last year, so maybe set design will improve over time.

The problem is; I must then wait until the bank affairs work and all so I can buy more soldier helms... I only got 14 grey flared helms(and 8 light grey 8) )... Which are the best looking generic (second is kettle helm).

Kohran- Yes lego is improving! Too bad the viking line will be a half-bionicle series... Oh well. The Vladek Fortress is a must buy! The small new ship is also interesting... The flags and banners are very useful! The fire catapult can be massed for many reasons! Yay! :D

Thanks, I found a way to make the old battles between lions, falcons and monarch work and the others too, the morcia map fitted in good too :)

This is something along the lines of what I am doing too... the hogwarts gray makes a perfect match with the bright jellybeans - just mix and match, then throw on a nice "yellow castle"-like decal, and presto! :P
