Should be fine. I actually don't use zoom at all. I take a high resolution wide angle shot and digitally crop out what I don't want.

More then enough. At 10x zoom your going to have to stand some distance from the MOC to get a decent picture.

From what i've seen, 10x + zoom digi cams can be expensive. All of my pictures were taken with a kodak dx4900(3x optical zoom) usually with out any zoom. Never rely on digital zoom, it's horrible.

Last week I purchased a Canon Rebel XT(DSLR) . I am very happy with camera...to happy...unbelievably happy..my god the options.

If you have the cash, I highly recommend it, but photography is an interest of mine and you don't really need somthing like that if LEGO photography is what you strictly have in mind.

I've used both Kodak and Nikon. I would choose Nikon over Kodak.
