Redbrown, on the other hand, just looks plain ugly next to oldbrown, in my opinion. Just don't like it...
I must say, I'm the opposite, I really like the new brown, but bley and greey combined is just terrible...
Not combining them! Ugh... that's just bad!

No, I'm talking about taking them at face value. An all bley creation vs. an all old grey creation is a tossup, so far as I'm concerned. It's just the mixture that concerns me.

With brown though, I just don't like the redbrown. Seperate or mixed, it just looks rather ugly to me, where oldbrown looked great.

Just personal opinion, mind... I also have a hankering for Space LEGO.

About the switch to bley, I heard that one reason that they switched was that it was cheaper to produce. I am only 13, and do not know a lot about investments, etc., but I know that if a large company like LEGO can save money just by switching a color a little bit, they will.

I personally do not like bley, mainly because it looks fake to me. the old grey accually looked like stone.

On the subject of reddish brown, I think that if LEGO made both brown and reddish brown, then all would be well. I like to mix them together because not all dirt is the same.

Sometimes I use bley in MOCs, I must admit it. When I do use it, it is mainly in landscaping. I like to use it landscaping because rocks aren't all the same color.

Personally I think that the dark bley is worse than the light bley. I don't know why, but I think that it is because light bley and light grey look more alike than dark bley and dark grey.
