NOOOO!!! Sell them to me! The horror! You should only do that with the regular axe-like halbeird piece.TwoTonic Knight wrote: And yes, now that I have 30 of 'em, I'm already chopping the bottom two blades off.
What do you think of the 4 bladed spear?

Hello!
Bye
Jojo
You are aware that those spears are in old dark grey and won't ever be the same in future sets? So you are destroying the last living mountain gorillas when cutting such pieces.TwoTonic Knight wrote:And yes, now that I have 30 of 'em, I'm already chopping the bottom two blades off. :D

And if they make 'em in new gray, I'll chop those up, too!Jojo wrote:Hello!

Geez, guys, you are getting so melodramatic! They aren't Gorilla G. Beringei being cut down in their prime, they are simply one pole arm being modified into another.

I think they have a very realistic design, probably based of a Swiss design as said by doctorsparkles. I only own 4, so I don't use them often.

Actually, 2 also came in 7413 Passage of Jun-Chi, a $10 set.timber_wolf899 wrote:The only complaint i have about the spear is that it only comes in the dragon fortress.
And when those went on clearance, well

Hmmm
I love it. Like the mention of the particular ornateness of the Dragon Master Axes, this goes along with the same sort of idea. After all, with a bunch of DM warriors with those huge axes, the pikeman just wouldn't look quite normal in their armies if they used regular spears.
Plus, any new weapon is always good.

Hey Mr.D here is the link. http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=torquayMr. D wrote: I can't find that store. Can you provide a link?
His store minimum is quite high and shipping is $25.00 regardless of the size of the order. Up to 35 lots anyway. He is a good seller though. Purchases from him should be done with a group of guys to maximize the order. My lug recently did this and we saved a bunch on shipping by ordering together. Splitting shipping 4 - 6 ways is a good way to deflect that high cost.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.
He's offering free shipping right now, (thus the Free S&H in his store description). Sorry, I don't mean to be a living add for this store, but it really is the best deal going. No need to split shipping right now!Hey Mr.D here is the link. http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=torquay

Free Shipping was over as of April 14th. Hope no one got burned thinking it was free. Joint purchases are a great way to fill up the minimum order if you don't have enough either. Still I highly recommend him as a seller, the parts are always great and his service is excellent as well. Now I am a free ad service.
