This is my entry into part 1 of GC3:

The New Ballista

Kroth Stonegrinder was happy to see that many of the structures of Havenhill were starting to be rebuilt after the attack of the giant serpent this summer. Kroth stopped by the the blacksmith shop as he was told that there would be something that he wanted to see. As Havenhill was preparing for war with the outlaws and all the creatures that live on the magical isles, they had created a ballista that was able to fire very large bolts. Kroth knew that he would need all the power that he could muster for the attack.

The basic story is that before the invasion, Leif goes to a wise old man's tower for advice on attacking the magic island. The old man doesn't tell him much, but gives him the map to an entrance to a network of underground tunnels that lead underneath several of the cities on the magic island.

Hearing of the call to purge the dangers of the Magic Isles, Baron Mac recruits a small group of fighting men to lead on the campaign. Will the new recruits be able to face the dangers ahead?

When Reahon Greamfor got a letter from his friend Rufus, requesting that he build some siege engines
for the upcoming attack on the magic isles, he started working on them, as quick as he could.

Here's my entry for the GC3 (don't worry, I got it posted to the entry thread before the deadline!)

Hey guys, I'm going on vacation until the 14th tomorrow night, so I will be only be checking on periodically, and scores probably won't get updated until I return. It's up to you guys to keep the entries pouring in and make sure you do your very best! Since I will be away from my bricks for most of Phase II, I will not be able to dedicate much time to my entry, but I do have an excellent start to it already so hopefully I'll be able to squeeze one in last-minute again.

ON, GARHEIM!!

Here's my entry!

Slikver Ayleth leads his army of Garhims into the heart of the Island of Lost Souls. They march a long way from their camp on the northern coast of the island before they encounter any signs of life at all. The army marched to the edge of the forest surrounding the central mountain and stopped for a moment, wondering where the rumored outlaw hordes and magical monsters were. Then they heard the movement in the forest. An army of orcs charges out from the brush and the Garheim cavalry charge them head on! Most of the orcs are run down but the huge trolls present a great threat! The Garheim infantry goes to join the fray but are intercepted by heavily armed outlaws supported by powerful wizards. The 4 wizards are some of the strongest on the island and use elemental magic in battle. Their fireballs make flaming trees fall on the soldiers and their wind and water spells send the Garhims flying in this epic battle.
