Don't feel bad, Jibbajaba. I once did buy a $10 set just for one piece. I hadn't discovered Brinklink yet, so as far as I knew that was the only way to get it.

Albero i thought the exact same thing when i saw the blue building's picture. In person though i find i hardly notice it. The bulding is just a joy to look at! <I will ad a door to the room though.

In fact both buildings just amaze me with the external detail. I mean i boggled at them! Be-A-Utiful!

The blacksmith shop interior i don't really understand though. ANy thoughts on that?

Upstairs or downstairs?

Oh, and how does one get upstairs?

Love the oven upstairs. deff going ot copy that for my large castle kitchen. Best thing about htis set for me is that the buildings fit the scale on which i have been building!

This is probably the only thing that I don't really like: the windows of the blue house give a nice picture but since they are round on the top, there's should be arcs above them and there are not. So I don't really like the space they leave "free".
I hope to be understood.

yeah, that bugs me too! glad I'm not the only one!

I hope to find a solution for that but not very simple since those blue pieces are more than rare...

I was super surprised to see the poo. I hadn't seen it in any pictures online. So it was a really fun surprise.

Perhaps the old crooked man is actually a gong farmer?
What else is he supposed to carry on his back ;)

The red might be perhaps be a tomato?

Serious? TLC's been putting clever little details in a lot of sets lately, but that surprises me!

I wasn't going to mention it here, because I thought it was a fun surprise. It made me crack up when I built it. But, yes, there is...poo...in the horse stalls.

Josh
AFOL and his money are easily parted.

It made me wonder who/what was pooing in the stalls, since horse/cow poo doesn't look like that...

I think a red Technic ball joint would have made a better tomato:

It would be sorta big, but I've seen some big tomatoes in my life:

I put the two brown carrots and extra carrot top in the old man's pack as some trade goods - some rare medicinal roots and herbs.

That was very noble. Perhaps I should have kept quiet...
