Out of curiosity, I have two questions pertaining to LCC that I'm not quite certain have been addressed before.
What is the official currency of roawia named- or, does each faction have their own currency?
Considering that all of the various factions have different industries and such that they excel in, which nation would be considered to have the greatest level of craftsmanship when referring to arms and armor: the greatest smiths, if you will?

I think the currency was discussed, but if I remember the general decision was to keep the currency vague eg gold, silver etc rather than trying to come up with names and denominations of currency.
As for levels of craftsmenship... that would depend on who you ask! I'm sure everyone will claim their skills as the best... (though certain regions are more likely to be skilled in certain areas due to resources. eg Loreos - silk, spices, Lenfald - herbs, woodwork, Garheim - mining, stonework).

Lenfald has the "Drake" as their currency, and I think Loreos decided on the "Loreal", but I could be wrong on that. We had some discussions in Garheim regarding currency, but I don't think a consensus was ever achieved. (I have an idea though that I suppose I can propose)
As for armory skills, I would, in my unbiased opinion as Garheim overseer

, suggest that Garheim would produce the best armor, since it's my understanding that we have the greatest concentration of dwarves, and we all know that dwarves make the best armor their vast mountain mines.
As for arms, I think it depends. I would say Loreos makes the best spears (for their cavalry), Lenfald are the best boyers (and their elves probably craft a fine blade as well), and Garheim makes the best axes and hammers (again, due to the dwarves).

I thought the dwarves were not part of Garheim? They don't owe allegiance to the Jarl, and I thought all races besides humans were hunted down or exiled. If that's correct, then it would be said that the outlaws possess the best armor crafters!

Dwarves may not be closely allied to the Jarl, but "humanoid" races such as elves and dwarves are viewed less suspiciously than other non-humanoid races and are tolerated by most humans on the mainland, provided that they don't use magic. Being the most mountainous region in Roawia (other than some of the outlaw territories) it just seemed to me that Garheim would have the highest population density of dwarves.

I just want to make a slight correction. The official Lenfel currency is a "Draken" not just a Drake. A drake would be a type of dragon, which is an animal. And people rarely trade with dragons.

I agree that Garheim should have the "finest" armour and probably the sturdiest steel for the most part. It just seems to fit the faction.

Glad to hear that if my planned Outlaw character ever had to deal with Loreos, I could buy whatever was needed with cosmetics.

What about the Outlaws? Are we stereotypically inclined to use the currency we have stolen the most?
While there is a small concentration of dwarves that after having been banished, found refuge in the magical swamps, I would argue as well the majority of the Dwarven concentration is in Garheim.
I agree with every assumption thus far regarding weaponry as well.
Also, I would think Lenfald has the best "swift" light horses, while Loreos definitely excels in war horses made for mounting charges.
I may be biased, but I would think the Outlaws have the best network of spies and espionage available. Any truth to that?

Back off Jack! He's our secret weapon?

Garheim has been getting a healthy dose of recruits lately.
With me not seeing this Queen lasting long, and things probably returning to "Hey, let the three 'civilized' nations gang up on the Outlaws" again, I'm thinking of putting an army with them.
I do love Garheim, though. So, I'm very likely still going to use all these troops I've been putting together for them somehow.

I'd really think that every nation had an impressive network of spies. Information is pivotal, after all. But, I guess, considering I wouldn't peg the humanoid Outlaws to be too associated with one culture over another, regarding the factions, they would probably be best at blending in. You only know it's an Outlaw from the knife in your back, no?

We need this on a MOC. Just change the year to be applicable to the Roawian calendar year. Where is Rifiröfi?

I guess you can always locate yourself up in Garheim even if you go rogue. It's a real shame that you can't be a general in charge of all those beautiful troops you've amassed though. Maybe you should just donate them to someone who will have more use for them

You guys crack me up! Bronx, you gotta get in on this LCC thing. It's too much fun, and you're missing out!

LCC Faction Group Photos
Ok guys, listen/read up! I have had an idea that is something each faction can do, which will be able to include all members, if they wish to be involved.
The idea is for 'group photos' for each faction, where a volunteer puts together pictures of each character on a white background. The pictures could be updated every few months to account for new members. I put it together for Loreos, and the photos submitted should look similar to this:

If you can edit the background to make it white yourself, then that's fantastic! If not, don't worry, just make sure the photo's at least half decent
Thanks guys!

Sounds good. I already have a photo like that of Sir Ian, so I'm just waiting for me one to tell me to Sen in the photo.

Will do.

Good idea, count me in! I could offer my skills to make those group photos. Some thoughts:
- use a white background: other colors would result in a glow.
- use a smooth background: that makes it easier to separate the minifig from the background. I am pretty sure that everyone has a white T-Shirt, boxer short or something like that.
- the logistics is easy: you can take shot of your character, upload it into your photo stream and send me a link to the original image. You can make the image private if you want to (won't appear in your stream), the image would be still downloadable using the provided link.
Cheers
