Catapult

Post by Jansen »

Hello, this is my catapult for the contest! It didn't take me that long to build this but I think it looks good. The catapult can fire about 10 ft., maybe a liitle more. I know the tower is pretty simple but I need the other pieces for my castle siege.

My favorite part is the chained handle. And over all is long and sleek.

Yeah the wheels don't quite look like they could support the catapult, mabey those brown chunky KKI wheels would work better, even if they don't look as good. But then again catapults and other siege engines were often built right next to the fortification that was being sieged so it wouldn't have to move very far.

God speed

This looks like a very solid, heavy duty creation. I imagine this as being the kind of thing the Orcs used to attack Minas Tirith. This is a definite contender to take the category.

I like the way you used so many slopes. It gives it a cool look.

I agree with the wheels issue. The captapult mechanism itself looks large and bulky, so it should have large and bulky wheels.

I recommend using the 4x4 round bricks as wheels.
