Hey,
I can't find an announcement, so maybe this is old, but the Brickshelf "Recent" page recently had Felix Greco's
Winter's Heart:

Looks rather Asian, or somewhat like the Kremlin, with those round topped towers.

This is old, and a favorite of mine.
Snow is always good on a MOC.

I saw this again on brickshelf too, I beleive it's an older MOC, and from al I can tell BS must have had a hickup! (what with all the problems lately it wouldn't be that far fetched...

)

I've always liked this. It's very nicely done.

Or Felix could have just deleted and re-uploaded the folder. Or even just added one image (I think that'd bump it up...).

Well to quote Felix exactly:
"Unfortunately that castle was taken apart after House of Bricks last year
because I moved down to Florida. I had found a couple pictures the other
day that weren't posted and put them into the file; thats why it was in
the recent posts. Winter's heart is actually the third incarnation of the
black and grey style I've been evolving. I usually go back onca a year
and build it in a new way. The current incarnation (which I haven't
photographed yet) is on display at the Orlando LIC.

(I had emailed him a question about it.) So yes, it's an older MOC that had new images uploaded into the BS gallery, therefore bumping it into the recent page.

Wow! Thats a good castle that does not use much detail. Just a good quality build!

Thanks for the positive feedback. I'm sometimes critical of others who seem to update their BS folders regularly just for a constant bump in attention-- really wasn't my intention.
As I was telling David, after the last
HoB the castle was taken apart. The black and grey castle is a style I've been evolving. Here is a quick synopsis...
Version 1
Version 2
Version 3 is Winter's Heart.
Version 4 (in developement) The main keep is currently on display but more is being planned.

I like this a lot. I like the fact that this creation is set during winter. It gives the castle a very “cold, hard and isolated” feel to it, almost like another dimension. Thanks Bruce for sharing this find with us.

Thanks for dropping in again Felix! I like how this gray/black style is working out. I recently had to play around with it on my WP Tower Redux, so I know the problems it can bring...
Anyways, great job with this again. I can't wait to see another!

I was never really a fan of black castles, but this makes me reconsider my stance. It's quite impressive. And I'm envious.
